Fishing is great! Anyone saying the egg bite is off either isn't using the right colors or not fishing the right water.

Those fish are beauties! What egg colors worked best for you?

Mik,

Just natural orange or natural roe. Nothing too fancy, tried various color schemes, mottled, etc but just plain natural roe with a rubber legs on the bottom was the best producer. Not one fish all day on any other nymphs.

Nice fish! What float did you do? We fished the last two wekends from Bonneyview to Anderson. Pulled in some decent fish the first weekend but only caught 3 total on eggs and rubberlegs. This last weekend was worse. We only picked up a couple. Nothing on eggs but only one decent fish on a midge in slow water. What kinda numbers are you bringing in? Thanks, John.

Very nice fish. You definitely have the magic.

We fished Friday from Bonneyview to Anderson River Park. Missed a few, buddy thought he had one on that went up river and then stopped and held like a log - I'm not sure though.

Fished rubber legs, stones, and micros all day - obviously should have tried beads too. Followed a couple guide boats all day and didn't see them land anything. Stopped and had lunch at Porky Pig and the guide boats repeatedly worked the run without catching any fish.

Beautiful day nonetheless - one of the guides was wearing flip-flops, shorts and a tee short it was so warm.

Have you tried alevins yet, supposedly they're hatching?
