Eagle Lake time now.......

Many fly fishers head for Eagle Lake this time of year, Nov/Dec (closes on Dec 31)

It has some of the largest average size Rainbow Trout in Nor Cal.

Bill, I was going to take ben (now 7-yrs old) for his entry into stillwater fishing during a 4-day break two weeks ago, but the weather got knd of crappy up there and so we went to the Delta instead. Just too cold for a little guy. But during bluebird weather like this, the fishing is just out of this world. I may try again in December if there's open water.
