Charlie,.... You're blessed. Your Grandfather's a skilled craftsman and looks great. He contributed a great deal to the war effort. I really liked the photo's of Kennedy and your Grandad when they were young. History is always interesting. :nod:

Pretty cool Charlie. What a coincidence, my Dad was a welder in the Sea Bees during WWII. He used to weld all knids of things when I was growing up. Jeff

My dad, Fred Kiene, was an airplane mechanic in WWII and for about a year was stationed on tiny Palmyra Island near Christmas Island below Hawaii on the equator.

It was very exciting for me to go on a fishing trip for bonefish to Christmas Island with my dad about 50 years later.
