Spend the weekend fishing with Jim Holmes......and his son......and some of his son's friends....Friday Jim and I fished Davis Lake by our self.....I landed 5 trout on my wiggle tail.....and Jim landed 5 trout on his 2 fly combo with a midge and ? on a floating line.... Saturday I passed out some wiggle tails......and we went fishing....at the end of the day I landed 2 trout, Jim landed 5, the rest had 3 trout, 1 trout, 0 trout count.....but the wiggle tail was working that day....We killed a couple of trout for dinner.....and found out the the trout was pack full of damsel nymphs, and snials.....Does anyone know if the damsel nymphs craw"sssss along the bottom on their way back out to deeper water when the weed beds die off in the fall ?????.....Lake temp. 46 degrees
