Hit it early (7:30 - 10:30) and got 3 in, lost one. Fishing from my tube using an intermediate sink line. Buggers, leeches, whatever. They're planters! ;)

If you need a quick fix, they're in there. Bite was on from 8:00 - 9:30 or so.

Guys from shore with bait and spinners/spoons were doing well also.

Oh, one more thing, there was a pretty active surface feed early as well. Didn't take my floating line or I'd probably have done pretty well on dries/emergers.

Anyone fish Rancho Seco yet?

I saw on DFG that Mather was planted last week (Week of the 19th)

I wonder how long it will be before the "bucket brigade" fishes them out?



SHigSpeed - How was the weed growth? Last time I was there a couple of months ago, there was very little uncovered area left.

Weeds weren't bad at all on the dam end.
