No fishing photos to share this time, but I did capture some flying trees while fishing the Au Sable in Michigan last week.

A conservation group was placing dozens of these trees in the river by helicopter to improve stream flow dynamics, I was told. It was pretty amusing to see intact trees flying by every 3 minutes or so. The trout did not seem to be too pleased, but I'm sure they will appreciate the increased cover once things settle down.
