Friday fished Pelican Bay and hooked 5 and landed 4 fish. They sure looked like spawning kokanee but a Google search and my fishing books said nothing about kokanee in Klamath Lake. Sent a picture to the biologist in Klamath Falls and he verified that these were kokanee but the FRIST he had ever seen caught in Klamath Lake. He thinks they got washed out of Four Mile Lake and came down Harriman Creek to Klamath Lake. These fish were spawning over underground springs.
