I am not going to tell you where I was, but the pictures should let you have a good idea of where. All I can say is if you can get into the sierras after 5 and fish til sundown you are in for a good time with dries. I had one little hole last night I pulled 5 fish out of in 5 casts on stimulators. It seems they will take any color but I have more hits on brown stim's. It also seems thatthe later in the year the fish size is much improved, I have been getting into some descent size trout, average is around 10 or so inches, which is really good for the area I am fishing.

One of the smaller ones, but still beautiful.

Pretty nice Scott! It looks like heading up the 50 corridor paid off for your Wednesday evening fix. Better than possbily getting skunked on the American. I'm thinking about going for an overnighter on Saturday and fish for brookies. The aspens are starting to turn and the nights are definitely colder. Jeff

Scott, have you gone down stream from there much(towards Bridal Veils); there used to be some really nice runs downthere back in the day.

Glad to see your getting into some fish.

Hey Charlie, I actually prefer to go down stream, but since I had been going down stream the last couple of times I decided to go up stream. Down stream is definetly better. One of these days I am going to have the wife drop me off at the Ice House turnoff and I am going to walk upstream as far as I can. There is alot of not so good water, but I want to fish the whole stretch along highway 50.
