'Angling on the Fly' travel service has a group of top Nor Cal fly fishers, Keith Kaneko, Kevin Doran, Ken Hanley, Bill Carnazzo and Ryan Miller working with the guides at Lake Mateos out of Mazatlan, Mexico right now.
This is a new spectacular lodge on a clear water LMB fisheries. It is one of the best LMB destinations in the world today.
Check with 'Angling on the Fly' but I believe the winter months are best there for top water LMB fly fishing at it's best.
This is a very close destination for us in Nor Cal and very affordable too.
I believe it is limited to 12 anglers per week.
I have been to their wonderful lodge on El Salto Reservoir so Angler's Inn on Lake Mateos is next on my list.
