Went out to the lower American Sunday morning before church. Got all rigged up and realized I forgot my nymph box on my tying bench at home. Thank God I still had my streamer box that had a few traditional steelhead flies for swinging. After about 15 minutes of swinging I hooked into a preety tough little 18 incher. Hey Scott, I got him out of your hole :D. Before I hooked that fish, I have to admit, I thought where does Scott ussually fish. There he was, got him on the third swing from that spot. Feels good to get one, I can't wait to go out agian and get another one, two or three.

Anyway, they're in there. If I can catch one anyone can.

Good job Charles, I m glad you got into one. They are lot of fun, I guess I am going to have to head out for another try. Let me know when you can make it out again and I might join you.

Good job Charles!

That is some of my favorite fishing.

This feels like Fall Steelhead weather this morning.

I think if more of us got out there we would find more fish.

They could be anywhere for Cal-Expo upstream to the Nimbus Dam.
