Airflo is seeing a trend to shorter, smaller two-handed rods and shorter lines.
People are using more heads now with running lines than full lines too.
Welded loops on everything seems to be the standard now too.
They are coming out with a 'Compact Scandi' series that will be very much like the Vision Ace lines except these will be in 30 grain increments so they will be easy to match up plus with welded loops. These lines are for fishing classic small to medium size pattern on or near the surface.
Their 'Compact Skagit' series are shorter, fatter heads that also come with welded loops in 30 grain increments. These are for throwing fast sinking tips (lead-core/T-14) and bigger flies for winter conditions.
