When it's Hot it's Hot and when it's Not it's Not. And not every time we go out do we come in with a trophy and last night was just such a night.
I decided to take my wife along to see if she could bring us a bit MORE luck than we've been having and she's wonderful with the camera so I was sure we'd get some good pictures.(several times this week I couldn't even turn the camera ON :oops: )
We hit all of the usual spots but things were a little slow. Water temp was up to 70 again and levels keeps jumping up and down about a foot every time we go out.
My friend Bob Bradbury managed several average keepers which seem to scattered throughout the river.

But the real trophy this week came the night before for Brett Allis with this 34 pound beauty.

So, when it's hot, it's time to get out there. And when it's not, it's still fun to get out there. The point being to get out as much as you can when you can and do a little searching. There are nice fish in all of the lower rivers right now and all it takes is a little time on the water.
