I had the pleasure last night to go fishing with Guppy, we meet up on the South Fork and fished our way down from Alder Creek tract. The day started off a little slow for me, Guppy got a small one right off the start. We saw fish but they just didn't want to play with us. But after about an hour or so they started to turn on, and once they did we were getting descent numbers of small fish. Guppy hit some nice water and caught a nice 9 inch or so rainbow, which for this water is a really good size. I caught a couple in the same range and was very happy with them. But once we started heading back up stream duw to the day light going away that is when the fish starting going crazy. We were seeing rises everywhere and at one point it was a fish or two from every little hole. All in all a great night on the water with the Gupster. And as you will se in one of the photos, guppy is not afraid to get wet. Guppies dad Steve drive him up and walked all the way down stream with us, one of these days he will get a license and a pole and hopefully join us.

I saw this and had to take a picture, it just looked to cool.

Here is Guppy fighting a good rainbow and as you can see he waded a little deep.

And the reward for all the hard work.

It was a good night out on the river. Most of the fish were small but they had some color and they fought hard. btw the water feels good after all that fishing and rock hopping :D
