Went out after work to Silverfork and took Taylor "Little Striper" with me for some dry fly fun. The flow is definetly high with the draining of Caples Lake, but the clarity is actually pretty good. The only real problem was the size of the fish, there are so many little bows in there it is hard to get anything of descent size, 6+ inches. Taylor and I both had about 50 - 60 rises on our flies but since the guys were so small they either missed the fly or were just to small to take the fly, I was fishing anything from a 12 - 16. I got most of my fish on a bigger fly, kind of strange. But all in all anpther beautiful evening on the water. We both got around 6 - 7 fish each with by biggest and only fish over 5 inches was about 10 inches.
Taylor with an average size fish for the night.
