AB 1806 looses in senate, 18-21

I was told late this afternoon that AB 1806, the delta restoration and mitigation bill was defeated in the Senate, 18-21. Initial reports say that all of the Republican senators and a scattering of Democrats voted the measure down. Also rumored was that water contractor lobbyists spread the false rumor that the bill would drastically reduce flows south.

I'll publish more on the CSPA website when I hear more.
