James runs a great service down there. He does trips out of la Concha hotel in La Paz and also does a camping trip on Cerralvo in may. He said this spring/summer was one of the best he's ever seen for BIG ROOSTERS.
I was asked by James to tie a pile of flies for his trip (which I posted a sample some time ago in the fly tying forum) He came home with some really positive results on the flies. Including several huge roosters and even 120# Marlin on my silicone sardina!
I sure need to get back down there one of these days, its a really special place!

While I was down in La Paz, I had the pleasure of having dinner with James and his wife and son. We had a great time. He is a nice guy and really loves baja. The video is great, really gives you an idea of what the fishing is like down there. Roosters are very cool, and the big ones are good fun. I think any of you who have not signed up for Jay's trip ought to watch the video and get your deposit in. I had a great time. Mems.
