Good morning Bill-

I was up on the Upper Sac this weekend and it was AWESOME!!

Showers off and on Saturday clearing to warm, Partly cloudy afternoon. Fishing was a little slow during the day but in the evening things got good! I'm not real up on my bugs but there were Golden stones, smaller mayflies, a ton of midges and there was a few green drakes as well I know they are rare for up there and I actually caught and brought on home. I didn't see much caddis action in the particular spot I was at but I have never seen that kind of bug action on a stream before, pretty cool. I did catch a few fish on the smaller side and had a lot of misses and looks.

Yesterday the weather was warm and clear and I nymphed for a while hooking a couple and landing one nice 14-16 inch fish in a hole that Fred Gordon showed us a few years back.

Then went up by the falls and through a few dries at them and a size 12 (I think) Orange Stimi seemed to get a lot of attention. It was fun!

Stopped in at Ted Fay Fly Shop... I thought you had a cast of characters... WOW! the BS was flowing!

Chat with you later,
