Howdy Folks,
I would like to invite any of my fellow fly fishing fanatics who live around the Sacramento area, and who also enjoy music, to our bands CD release performance this next Saturday, June 28th :) . Western Lights will be playing and unveiling our new CD, “Bob Played Here!” at the 5th string music store, 930 Alhambra Street, in Sacramento. We will begin playing at 7:00 pm.
This performance will be a unique opportunity for those who can make it to see us perform with our special guest artists we had on our CD. Arnie Gamble is a great dobro player from the Sacramento area we enlisted to help us on a number of songs on the CD. Three of the special guest artists are near and dear to my heart as they are all three of the children the good lord blessed Dana and I with :) ! Each of the kids did a great job on one special song of their choice. I can tell you they did Mom and Dad and all the band members very proud with the great job they did on these songs :) !
This will likely be the one and only opportunity for the band to perform with all our guest artists so it will be a special day for sure. If you enjoy good live music in the Bluegrass, Western Swing genre’s I will guarantee you will enjoy our performance that night! Please come on down, the live music is free and if you so decide, you can purchase a copy of our new 2nd CD that we are all so very proud of.
