It was just insane , how much fun I had !!

Other than Estuary Leopards and Baja ...... I've never really surf fished w/ a flyrod - Paul pointed out the things I've read about , but didn't really know how to look for ( troughs , rips , etc.) . We landed Perch , saw Halibut and Corbina , and fouled a few SNGF .

Those guys down there are lucky to have that kind of fishing so close to home .

So cal is highly over looked for its fishing. Hell I have caught salmon in Newport Beach.
