There are tons of possibilities right now so don't wait till August to head for your favorite lake or stream.

Locally we have Shad, Stripers and bass & panfish.

In August we recommend going to the coast to get cool or to the high country (8000'+) or out of state in some cases.

Most of our mid-elevation trout streams suck in August.

Down here in the Valley is just ugly in August.

For people who live in this big long valley August is the traditional month for vacations. Most go to the ocean or the mountains to get cool.

Have a great trip down south David. Paul and the boyzzz are on fire right now with the corbina getting better by the week. He's had some excellent days with multiple beans landed. Bring your "A Game." Please pass along a big hello. I'll be down chasing beans with Al Q and Paul in a few weeks.
