Getting close to that time of the year-the hex hatch. There is a good article in the lastest issue of Fy Tyer Magazine (Summer Issue). "The Hex Is On" is the title and it is written by Tim Warriner. Tim is one of the "regulars" down on the American on Saturdays casting the two handed rods. This is Tim's first published piece, to my knowledge, and I think he did a good job. Several of the patterns were Lincoln Gray's of Sierra Stream and Mountain Fly Shop in Chico. Check it out; it's a very good read.
