i will be camping there this weekend and want to now how the fly fishing is there

Not much of a shallow or littoral zone on that lake, it drops off pretty quickly to well over a hundred feet deep by the dam. If you have a float tube that will help, unless you can do some roll casts off the shorelines into the limited shallow areas.

Using the map as a reference, where the walking trail has the people walking and the motorbike symbol on the NE portion where forbes creek flows in, there is a shallow zone, and sometimes the wind will blow the food that way.
As the water warms (use a thermometer) there are fish sometimes up towards the inlet where shirt tail creek comes in.
Good luck, the water is pretty clear, and more towards neutral, as opposed to alkaline ph for the plants, insects, and fish to grow; in fact the town of forest hill gets its water supply from it.
There are stocked and hold over rainbows, bass, and probably a few sunnies.
