June is a big month in Nor Cal:
One of the top month for stream trout.
Trout in lakes is big too.
Shad are best for wading.
Stripers are still around in the cool rivers.
Bass & Panfish are on top and hungry now.
PS: Don't wait till it gets hot as hell here in August to go fly fishing in Nor Cal unless you go to the high country (8000'+) or over to the coast.
