Arrived around noon in heavy rain and wind. At 3:00 The weather finally settled down enough to launch my pram at the dam for a 2hr window of solid Fuller style fishing. Over 2 dozen fish to hand- mostly rainbows this time. Some of those recent planters have sholders on em! The fish are everywhere, but top of the lake is the spot. Dark buggers/camo line with a fast strip. Water level is good and the lake is beautiful. Save yourself the $7 launch fee by putting-in at the dam (you'll also get to fish longer).

Waiting out the weather paid off well for ya. Good job, and thanks for the report.

Thanks Vaughn, looks like I need to add Fuller to the list. The list gets pretty long this time of year. Ed

Oh man, I hope it's that good June 12-15 when my flyfishing group goes up there for a fishout!

Sounds like you had a great time, despite the weather...

I recall that Fuller is a "no gas motors" lake. Will they let me launch my 12-footer if I don't have a gas tank with me and the motor is tilted up out of the water, or would I have to pull the gas motor off before going up there?

You'll have to pull the motor.

I believe gas motors are allowed- there's usually one or two putting around each time I go......

A gas motor is ok to use at fuller. The Lake is not that big, rowing is a nicer way to get around the lake, and you can save that gas money for a new rod.
