Choose one photo huh? You really want this to be difficult.

I will have to go with this Short-Eared Owl from Cosumnes. It was taken February 23, and is currently hanging in the dining room as a 16x24 inch print.

Bolden,

I love your DOF and that bokeh. His eye really makes a statement with that evening light.

Wonderful shot!

Rob,

I would have to agree with your wife, that is an incredible shot.

Out of curiosity, which way are you facing? I ask because it could make an awesome sunset or sunrise picture if it rises over the mountains in the picture.

To everyone else, thanks for the cool pictures and hopefully more people will join in.

I was facing southwest .

I took this one last night . The clouds are a little soft , so i am not sure what i think about it . This one i was facing northeast . I also took it with my camera upside-down and used the flash to highlight the bulrushes in the foreground . That' a yellow-headed blackbird on the bulrushes on the point .

Rob that first picture is nice but that second picture is awesome!!!

I can't think of a favorite picture of mine. I've taken a bunch of pictures with my new slr, but I'm not overly taken by any one of them.......

I'll post one when/if I find one that will even come close to those posted so far.

I had a hard time deciding, this one is funny:

I have taken a bunch of shot with my new camera, yet I don't have a favorite shot. Most of my pictures have been of student models, some have turned out alright but nothing super special.

I like these though:

I haven't posted these yet because they didn't have anything to do with fly fishing or the outdoors..... but I figured that i'd show you guys what I've been shooting this semester. I took my first studio photography class this semester, I had fun. We shot some pretty girls, learned some stuff and had fun.

Hmmm, gorgeous, young co-eds or fish.... :-k :-k :-k Exactly what was it you learned in this class :?: :?: :unibrow: :unibrow:

What beautiful fish. I sure wish we still had a few of them around here. Not sure if they're still there, but, used to be some in high altitude lakes in California..... 8) 8) 8)
