There are lots of things to fish for in the spring right around town(Sacramento).

Get that new 2008 fishing license and dust off that fly fishing tackle.

May/June is huge right here.

Go after work or on the weekends.

Don't wait till August to go fly fishing in Nor Cal. If you do it will be at 10,000' or on the coast.

Shad, Striper and bass&panfish are out there looking for you.

There are still nice fish in the river in the river.

This is the craziest time of year for me. I'm carrying shad flies, striper flies and trout flies and three types of rods everywhere I go right now. My fly vest weighs more than I do :shock: .
