Took my two-year old out fishing this morning to sailor bar. We fished the upper pond. I haven't had many more fun times as a father than I did this morning. My little girl caught 8 blugills in 45 mimnutes. She had a blast and I just had fun watching her have fun doing what I love to do. She is the only one who will wacth "The Trout Bum Daries" with me. Can't wait to get her casting a fly rod. Anyway great place for lots of panfish and some good bass. I saw several bass on reds over 4 pounds.

Here are some picts.

Great place to take kids, lots of very eager panfish.

Hey Scott,
Great place to take that 3 wieght for those panfish, and a bigger rod for the bass.

Ed, thanks for the tip.

Look at that face, what a cutie.

It's easy to forget the magic of 'gills and kids. That's where most of us started.

Good job Dad. Ed

Charles, good for you! She's a sweetie and that's a really nice panfish. Two-years old, eh? Very impressive. :D

Gotta love a kid with a smile and a bluegill, makes my heart feel warm. I'll have to join you out there one of these times.
