Focus test chart

I notice that some of my photos were not as sharp as i thought they should be , so i tested my camera/lens with the test chart from here http://focustestchart.com/focus21.pdf . My camera had a back focus problem , so i sent both my camera and lens back to canon for calibration . They tested both and neither were working properly . I was very impressed with the people i talked to at Canon and the turn around time was only 6 days including shipping . My camera was a refurbished camera and canon repaired it at no charge , even though it had a third party warranty . I can't believe the difference in the sharpness . My eyes aren't the best anymore :roll: and i thought it was just me .

Its amazing how just a little bit of back or front focus can render pictures so soft. I am glad you got everything fixed nicely.

My lens is a good lens , but there are a few that have back/soft focus problems that need to be calibrated , and just my luck i got one of them . :roll: If there is anything defective for sale out there , i bet i will get it !!! :twisted: :roll: :oops: No joke , the last two 3 cameras , 2 muzzle-loaders and 3 shot guns i bought , all had to be returned for repairs . :evil: :twisted: :roll: :roll:
