very sweet indeed. I ran into a few of them a few weeks ago in the delta....those blistering runs and rod-bending dives are unforgetable. I need to get out there again soon.

That is awesome! I see huge ones rooting around in the weeds in the shallows of the Delta all the time, especially at this time of year, but I haven't really tried to target them. I do know they are very spooky from the few times I've tried to cast to them. Would be really cool to learn what kind of flies to best target them with in the Delta.
