The committee votes on AB 1806 and 2502 have been posted. Here are the results. First, AB 1806, the assembly bill dealing with mitigation for the Prospect Island fish kill and mitigation for the salmon smolts killed annually by the infamous pumps.

If, on the other hand, your representative did not represent your interests then it should be imperative of you to tell him/her of how much you disapprove of their position on these crucial issues for California fisheries.

Has it occurred to anyone that the author of these very important bills is to be "termed out" by term limits next year :?: :?: Reportedly, Wolk is planning to run for a seat in the State Senate. If these bills are not passed in this session, more than likely, they will not be passed in their present form or at all. :(

Seems to me that we should make sure to communicate our position at every opportunity to maximize the chances of passage. 8) 8) 8)

Darian, the next stop in the process is the appropriations committee. We hope to be able to beat the drum and call for support if and when the time comes.
