I'm going camping up at Plumas-Eureka State Park in May and was looking for advice as to where to fish. I'm looking for smaller streams preferably. Not really interested in still-water. Thanks! :D

Mr. Big,

I love fishing the little creeks here with my 6ft 3wt, super fun for small native trout. My favorites include; Jamison creek (canyon section from lake madora to the falls), Grayeagle creek (below the water and land company's barrier), Frazier creek (below the falls), and Eureka creek. The MFFR will be good as well, I would fish it from Clio to Two Rivers.

Best of luck to you, and have a great time!

Good stuff Jon....Mr Big you might want to double check on staying at Plumas-Eureka State Park - it's one of the MANY State Park Campgrounds being looked at for closure here in Kalifornia.

If you can, checkout the Nelson Creek and Middle Fork of the Feather confluence. Good stuff around there. Be careful of cranky miners. They think are trying to move in on their turf.
