It is good to hear that people are being caught at being bad, and this is real bad. Using fingerlings for bait, just another stab in the future of our salmon. Who knows how many others are doing this, I had no idea.

Ahhh , well .....

You know my views on the situation there Matey - deport 'em , shoot 'em , skin 'em , etc. .

I've never been a bigot . I dislike ALL %$^#@$# equally :evil: :evil: :evil: Hard to believe there is a repeat offender there ....... :?

This is pretty sad. The salmon have enough challenges against them.

OK guys,.... The SacBee reported that 10 more poachers were arrested using nets to catch Salmon fingerling/smolts to use in poaching Sturgeon. The link for the article follows:

This should provide some support for hiring additional DFG Wardens..... 8) 8) 8)

Just mailed in my background info pack. Number 3 on the list to get into the academy, as long as Arnold doesn't slash the 38 open positions listed right now anyway. But the DFG is cracking down on fishing from what I understand, especially the illegal sale of sportfish. But, if those guys were smart, instead of netting the smolts themselves, they could of got all the messed up ones from the dfg survey boats out there lol.
