Just a remeinder for those planning on going, you may want to think of getting your reservations for Lundborg's landing if you plan on staying there. They might get booked up early, but then again they may not. I made my reservations today and plan to get there Friday afternoon, so I can get in some Friday afternoon fishing.

Already got mine. Going down Friday I hope or earlier if things work out. Dave

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. As a warm up I am going out with KD the prior Tuesday. :D

A side note, I have gotten into rod building and got a smokin deal from Sierra Trading Post on some rods that I bought for the socks and tubes. I will bring them to the gathering for anyone who wants one (I have three). I would like $35 for each, no sock or tube, of course. They are Martin Mohawk River seven weights, medium action. They are really pretty, for example they have maple spacers (one is a birdseye). I have two at nine ft. and one at 8 1/2 ft. The nines still have the labels, I did some test casting for about ten minutes with the 8 1/2 to make sure they were decent rods. They are pretty good if you like a medium action.

I wanted to give those attending the gathering first shot, if no one is interested I will post in the classified, which will add shipping. If there is no interest there I'll give them to my casting club for the Saturday casting lessons.

I'll take one off your hands Richard. There's a hole in my line up where a 7wt should be. I'll be there. Ed

I'll take one, I really like Bird's Eye Maple so if possible I would love that one, I could always use another 7 weight.

OK, Scott, you got the last one. The 8 1/2 ft is the one that best shows the birdseye so that one is yours if you want it.

As Daffy Duck would have said, "Tha, Tha, That's All Folks!!!"

See you all at the gathering. And thanks Bill for keeping this (and us) going!!

If I read this right, it looks like our prime fishing will be first thing in the morning and then later in the early evening. With a big slow time in the afternoon. Is this right?
