Wow, I am loving all of these spring flowers. My Girlfriend, her daughter, her dog and I took a hike up in Upper Bidwell Park yesterday and there were some awesome flowers out and about, check them out:

Happy yet tired dog!

We had a great time, I had a blast taking pictures. I hope that you guys enjoyed a few of those shots, I can't wait to edit them in RAW, these were all jpg copies that I have not edited yet.

Nice Adam !!!!!!!

Still waiting for all the snow to melt here , no flowers yet !!!
With 120 -135% of normal snow all over the state , it may take a while . The rivers will be blow out until mid august this year . We need to fish as much as we can now and as soon as all this snow starts melting , it will be time to use my camera as much as possible .

Any idea what the proper name is for the purple flowers? I'll refrain from calling them what we did as kids (****** toes). I've never been able to find them in any field guides but see them everywhere.

My favorite is the "pooch in the poppies portrait". At least I think those are poppies?

I think those are california poppies, the kind that don't get you stoned...but your dog looks like he/she is enjoying them nonetheless...
