When you turn all the Valley rivers into creeks it makes a huge impact. In all my 20+ years of fishing the American River, I have never seen it so low for so long.

My wife and I had a baby in the last year, so fishing has been at a minimum. I haven't had much to post. I still have your messages tucked away. I am headed to Twin Lakes in August. I am going to make an effort to get away from the lake this time around.

I am not seeing a ton of post on the American this year. I guess that might be a good thing considering the water levels.

Keep in touch. I will be looking for your weekly American post. : )
