Hit a slough in the tube .....
The slough was pretty interesting - looking on the map , I found a place to launch a tube (would have been a LONG kick in there otherwise) - it has the most amazing amount of cover I've EVER seen !! The whole North side has a steep riprap bank , next to which is flooded brush and timber . Nearly every casy w/ a Clouser and I line would result in a snag at low tide ..... a floater here when it warms up is going to be insane !!
I landed one lonesome 13-inch Crappie (only bite of the day ....) and saw 3 Stripes caught (I brought only floating and I lines ....) , so I know there are a mess O' fishes in there . Water was cooler than I would have liked (mid-50's) , perhaps 1 foot visibility .
Not much of a report , eh ??
