i have been thinking about this for a while, and i think it would be a great time to get some board members together and have a wilderness fishing trip. backpacks and all. anyone an avid alpinist like myself??

I see you live in Salem Or. Are you sure you even know what high country is? Calm down L.S., just yankin your chain. 8)
The problem here is that I think the reason most alpinists (alpinists? :roll:) love going up there is to escape the crowds. Taking a club with you kind of defeats the purpose.

I've got a bad case of Golden Trout Blues going on this year, gonna have to take care of that come mid summer. Ed
