Smoke

I did all of these with my 90mm macro and sb-600(flash) off camera. The flash was slightly behind and to the side of where the smoke was, and i found that lit it up better than any other position. I also used one of my black shirts as a background. The rest of the trickery was done on the computer to change the black background into a white background.

The smoke was created using a simple stick of incense.
