I just ordered a couple from Singh - Ray , boy are these suckers pricey $$$$$ . :shock: :shock: But i can't see putting cheap plastic in front of a good lens . Still can't believe they cost so much !!! :roll: :twisted:

How much were they? I'm interested in those GND's too.

With digital you don't necessarily need GND filters. If you use a tripod and take multiple exposures you can blend them together using a vector mask. Here is an example of how to do it: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/blended_exposures.shtml In my opinion it comes out much better than any straight graduated filter can do.

Sing-Ray filters have long been the standard for thier Neutral color. After noticing that several pros were using them; I purchased a brand from England call Hi-Tech. THey are about $30.00 cheaper and they are every bit as good. They sell them at www.bhphotovideo.com
