I am looking for a # 7 rod that holds some 6 weight "aspects" such as lightness, small grip and still can cast a clouser minnow or a FruitCocktail bass popper.
Found this GLOOMIS GLX MAX # 6, some say it can use a 7 weight line on it due its stiffness (comparable to TCR rods) but I dont feel very confortable overlining a rod.
Any feedback on this rod? # 6
