Fishing has been tougher with the lack of cloud cover. There are good
numbers of fish on redds throughout the river. There were close to 20 guys
at Sailor yesterday, all on the tailout . I have to weave through them with the
boat to get by. Anyway, back to fishing. Thursday was good, we hooked
some nice chrome pistols. We pulled on one that we never saw, this fish has
mass. Oddly enough, none of the fish we hooked were halfies or quarter
pounders. Friday was tough, we pulled on one toad and landed one HP. Spey
rods were in command most of the day- nothing on the swing. There are
good numbers of fish rolling in the mornings.
