I like the pose in the first one the best, very nice shot. He must not be shy because it looks like you were very close. What lens did you use?

Glen,

Very nice.

One question. How do you post images without a URL?

Hey Ben,

Thanks. I was using a 100-400 on a 1.3x body. I think he's getting use to people trying to get close to him since he comes around the neighborhood once or twice a day.

Hey man, you take some great photos. I love looking at what you post.

Glen,

Very nice.

One question. How do you post images without a URL?

Hey Steve,

Thanks. I'm not quite sure what you mean? I'm just using the IMG tag and pointing to where I have the images hosted. Usually on Flickr or Pbase.

O.K. I give up....grin...

Ahhh, I see what you were talking about. The reason why your image didn't show up is because if you look at the URL you posted it is pointing to an .HTML page. Instead of linking to the page you have to link directly to the image itself.

The URL should look something like this:

(image tag) http://www.califlies.com/images/CopperRockFishStill3.jpg (close image tag)

I used (image tag) so that the URL would show up. You of course would still use the [img] tag.

Hope that helps.

Steve, for instructions on how to post pictures in your post without making people click on a link visit the "General Fly Fishing" forum on this site, there is a "sticky" post about how to post a picture. Please post pictures we love to see fun pictures, like Glen's.

Adam,

Thanks. I've read all the instructions a while back. Glen hit the nail with regards to attaching the tag to the gif or jpg.

Thanks for the help though.
