That's a really fine larger pontoon boat.

I think that is what many use to float river for Steelhead.

I'm only 5'6" and 190# and I felt really safe floating the Truckee River once in a PAC 1000. Kind of like a big safe SUV.

The PAC 1000 is great for lakes too.

You can carry more gear and your dog on one of them.

Great for floating larger rivers like the lower American and lower Sacramento.

I've got one now...what's terrific is 1) the weight and 2) the materials used. These 'toons are about 2/3 the weight of other models, and you can drag 'em over rocks, etc. and they hold up juss fine! I've had mine for about six years or so and abalutely love it!

This is a fantastic boat for either a large person or for taking lots of gear or for rivers with some rapids.

This is the boat you would float the lower Sac with or most Steelhead rivers.
