Yosemite Merced River Winter

Just got back from a trip to Yosemite for a little skiing and winter sight seeing (no fishing). Went on a hike along the Merced river and took a few pics that I thought would be fun to share. What a beautiful place in the winter.

There'll be more snow stacked on top of that. It snowed earlier today and it's expected another storm will dump some tonight the rest of the week.
I've been shooting a lot up there. I'm not a cold weather person but living only 40 minutes from Yosemite is great. And I'm only 25 minutes from the lower Kings. I have been up there a lot the past few weeks looking for carp coming into the shallows - nothing yet.

Who knows, Sacramento could be my next residence
