went fishing today....more of "ing" than "fish," but it was still nice to get out. it was COLD.

We used to fish from the Hale's property, further up the Nestucca, and really enjoyed the sea-run cutts that do that stream. :wink:

hope to be up that way with Bruce in mid-February to fish with Scott O and Mike M for a few days - weather permitting - setting up out of Tillamook. Beautiful rivers up there with awesome swing water!!

well, its about 4:30 where i am, and im all bundled up like the kid on the cristmas story. theres snow on the ground and hope in my heart. its time to go fishing.....

two ldr's, thats about it. we fished 6 differant holes of 2 differnat rivers. the line was freezing in the guides, which got a little annoying after a while. it was a great day. it started out with venison steak and fried potatoes by our buddies wife. the rivers here max out at about 60 wide with no backcasting space, and boy does my 7100 zaxis single-spey good!!
