Any reports on the Lower Stanislaus?

I am thinking about heading over to the Stanislaus just above Knights Ferry this weekend and haven't seen any recent reports on how the fishing has been. Anyone been there recently?

And anyone ever caught any big fish out of there? I'm still waiting to get something close to respectable from there.

I didnt fish it recently but a friend did and said that it was ridiculously crowded.
