Have reports from two top local drift boat guides that it is slow.
River is still a little off color but should be clearing soon.
That can change though because as I remember when I use to fish winter Steelhead more myself that February can be the top month for big ones here in Sacramento.
Did have a serious American River fly fisher in yesterday and he is catching 'Halfpounders" now though. Might be time to go try some "trout tactics" on the river.
