......this past week or so. River was a little high for fly fishing.

Heard they weighed in a 19lb 6oz male hatchery Steelhead at 'King's News & Tackle' in Guerneville.

Lots of big fish between 10 and 15 pounds taken by gear fishermen.

Will be blown out now with this new storm.

A friend, Ken, caught a nice wild hen , estimated over 10#, last Sunday from near Guernville on an orange comet....one of his favorite bugs for steel. \:D/
It does appear that smaller, faster cleaning waters will be the target of necessity for a bit here. :wink:

Ain't no sin to kill and eat a hatchery steelie. =D>
However, it's unforgiveable to kill and eat a wild steelie. [-X

...was just wondering how the big guy tasted. I like them a little smaller. Big ones have always tasted musty to me.....
