Wow, that looks really nice Bill! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished. That front casting deck has Delta topwater bass bugging written all over it. :D

I can't wait to get it HS,

It is a 17' hull with the front cut off, bobbed.

It will have a center console too.

It has a 10 degree 0.125" bottom with 24" sides.

It is 60" at the bottom rear but not sure about the beam?

I am going to put an E-Tech 90hp on it with a prop and with a jet pump (65hp) option.

Andy Guibord, at the shop, helped design it from his experience guiding/fishing with a similar small 14' custom decked Jon boat and from looking at Charlie Bisharat's custom Koffler jet boat.

Andy said it was really great if someone could build a boat that had decks front and back and lots of storage.

I has two 10' rod lockers so we can have rods rigged and stored on the boat.

The boat builder is Ray Jensen of 'Endure Boats' in Medford.

Ray works at a large aluminum boat factory by day and at home he builds some really nice custom aluminum boats.

Bill

Ray makes some nice boats, almost had him build me one of his 10' prams a while back but ended up getting the North River Jet instead. Its the small custom shps that make some neat water craft.

Also know of another custom builder up in So Oregon thats built a slick little boat where the owner dropeed in a jetski motor and jet unit. It really runs skinny.

Good luck with your project. Myself planning on adding a complete rear deck to my new tub as well.
