Well, after working from 3:30am to 8am, Scott V arrived at my place to pick me and my new inflatable up for a trip to Rancho Seco.
What a beautiful place...Serene under the shadows of the nuclear towers....the clearest lake water I have seen in quite a while...
Anyway, after getting his pontoon and my raft all setup, we trolled up to the north end of the lake and joined a few kayaks and a couple of smaller boats that were all drifting up there.
About 1 hour in, Scott hooks up and pulls in a very nice trout. I will let him tell the story, but it was a beaut!
Overall a very nice trip. A place I will start visiting frequently as it is close, serene, and holds some big, big fish.
